The tiny size is compensated by the amount of lush natural resources and fauna to be found. Costa Ricans certainly know what it means to have lots of fun and relax at the same time!

There are 3 volcanoes in the country and you can actually view one of them that’s still active (The Arenal), which is located in the northern part of the country. The other two are just to the midpoint and southern end of the country and many people also love to go soak in the hot springs near the volcano. The rich flora of the country is much concentrated on the volcanic areas, where past eruptions has burnt away old trees and making way for new plants to grow, and fertilize it with the rich nutrients from the lava. Costa Rica is a major tourist attraction in this area with millions of people visiting each year, all looking forward to enjoy a sun drenched evening on the beaches of this lovely little country.

The dry season in Costa Rica starts from December all through May which would make your visit pleasant without being caught in thunderstorms. Usually it’s best to visit when the weather isn’t very hot and humid since Central America is only mere miles from the equator; bordering the northern end of South America. Tourists should be aware of possible natural disasters and to choose who they tour with carefully; many Americans have gone missing in foreign lands because they go off with people they don’t know very well. When it comes to a Costa Rican vacation, it takes effort and hard work to ensure you have a memorable holiday.
